On a warm afternoon, I found myself drawn to a tucked-away waterfall in Southern Oregon, a hidden cove wrapped in moss, mist, and mystery. I brought wire, a stone that had been waiting for the right moment, and no real plan.

As I settled in on the smooth river rock, the rhythm of the waterfall seemed to guide my breath. I began wrapping the stone — a deep, ocean-like beauty — and the wire moved like it had been waiting for this very moment.

A dragonfly landed softly on my foot.
